Want hands-on experience that actually leads to a job? Join Specsavers' Ofsted-rated apprenticeship to build clinical or office skills, earn while you learn and connect with a nationwide network - around 90% move into permanent roles.

Specsavers runs a nationwide apprenticeship programme offering clinical and support-office roles designed to develop on-the-job skills and long-term careers.

The programme, established in 2016 and rated outstanding by Ofsted, recruits around 500-600 apprentices annually with approximately 90% moving into permanent roles. In-store roles include optical assistants and lab technicians, while additional apprenticeships are available across support departments.

Apprenticeships are open to anyone aged 16+, including recent GCSE or A-Level completers and older career changers. Level 3 store apprenticeships are typically 15 to 18 months and require a GCSE Maths Grade 4/C (or equivalent).

Vacancies are advertised continuously on the Specsavers website, and applicants can also contact the Recruitment Administration and Support Service Team on 01566 771 888 for more information.
