Sporting Souls is a specialised community programme for young men aged 14 to 18, combining MMA sports therapy with emotional support to help participants step away from negative influences, build confidence, develop resilience, and learn new skills. Sessions are led by MMA coaches and sports therapists (Mighty Mobs and Maleek Naab) alongside psychotherapist Paul Moody.
The programme provides physical activity paired with therapeutic support and peer connection to encourage positive change and reduce the risk of exploitation. The open-provision intake runs in the community (Ealing Broadway, London W5) and is free to attend.
Bookings are not handled by the Young Ealing Foundation - all young people must be referred via the Lasting Support Foundation website (https://lastingsupportfoundation. org/sporting-souls/). For more information contact the listed email on the project page.
