Unlock the dynamic world where sports meets the law in a two-week summer program designed for motivated high-school students. The Sports Law and Industry Insights Summer Program at Georgetown University covers athlete contracts, intellectual property in sports, labor agreements and collective bargaining, general law principles as applied to sport, and emerging legal challenges such as name, image and likeness (NIL) rights.
The course blends theoretical foundations with practical applications and classroom activities. The program is delivered on Georgetown University's campus in Washington, D. C.
, with both residential (boarding) and day options available. Students have access to campus facilities, structured daily schedules, supervised activities, excursions, and a multicultural student community.
Upon completion participants receive a Course Completion Certificate, a Letter of Recognition, and an Official Georgetown Transcript; credit-bearing classes provide grade reports and transcript instructions where applicable. Admission requires completion of the Summer Institute application.
International attendees receive visa support and a Letter of Introduction where needed; students from countries outside the U. S. Visa Waiver Program must obtain a B-2 Visitor Visa, while students from Visa Waiver countries must apply for an ESTA.
Tuition includes academic tuition, housing for residential programs, most meals, campus activities and local transportation; airfare and some personal costs are not included.

Two-week program fees: Day option : £3,185 (2 weeks). Boarding (residential) option: £5,630 (2 weeks). An additional international registration fee applies for international students: $379 (residential) or $239 (commuter).
