Curious what a career in architecture really looks like? Join Allies & Morrison's half-day workshop: tour the practice, tackle a mini design project and hear from professionals - build portfolio skills, connect with industry and boost your uni/career choices.

Deadline in 46 days

This half-day Introduction to Architecture with Allies & Morrison will include presentations about working in the architectural profession, a site visit to the practice and a mini design project. The session is hosted at Allies & Morrison Architects (SE1 0HX) and runs on Monday 16 February 2026 from approximately 1:45pm to 5:30pm.

The workshop is designed to give Year 12 and Year 13 students practical insight into architecture and related career paths. Participants will hear about different disciplines within the practice (architecture, urbanism, conservation, interiors, landscape and visualisation) and take part in hands-on activities to develop transferable skills relevant to architecture, engineering and creative design.

The course is fully funded by sponsors and places are limited to six participants. Applicants must be in Year 12 or Year 13 (ages 17-18), creative, have good hand-eye coordination and be able to attend the full session.

Successful applicants should be prepared to demonstrate enthusiasm for practical, hands-on design work.
