Want to craft your own silver jewellery? Join Paul Ravn’s five-week Saturday workshop at The Goldsmiths’ Centre to learn sawing, filing, soldering and annealing, build real skills and finish a personal piece to boost your portfolio. Apply by 26 February 2026.

Deadline in 58 days

This five-week jewellery-making workshop, run by The Creative Dimension Trust and taught by jeweller Paul Ravn, covers traditional silver jewellery techniques including sawing, filing, soldering and annealing. Participants will build practical skills across the course and complete a personal piece of jewellery to take home.

The course runs on Saturdays from 28 February to 28 March 2026 at The Goldsmiths’ Centre in London. Sessions start at 10:00 and finish at approximately 16:30 each day. Paul Ravn is an experienced jeweller and former staff member at London Metropolitan University Jewellery School, the Cass.

The workshops are fully funded by sponsors. There are only 10 spaces available, and if the workshop becomes oversubscribed the organisers may close applications early. Applicants should be available to attend every session and will be asked to show enthusiasm for practical, hand-based making in their application.
