Join The Creative Dimension Trust at Fortnum & Mason’s flagship store in Piccadilly for a one-day masterclass in butchery. During the session you will be taught practical butchery skills by an expert from Fortnum & Mason Patisserie.

The workshop takes place within the store environment and offers hands-on learning focused on developing practical, craft-based techniques.

The session is aimed at 16-19 year olds interested in creative, craft and food-related career pathways and provides insight into transferable skills and future careers. The workshop is fully funded by sponsors, places are limited to 12 participants, and applicants should be prepared to attend the full session.

Applicants are asked to demonstrate creativity, interest in the careers listed, good hand-eye coordination and a passion for working with their hands.

  • Be 16–19 years old during the dates of the workshop.
  • Be creative and have an interest in the listed careers (e.g., architecture, engineering, fine art, jewellery making, art conservation, glass working, theatre design, fashion design, costume design) or similar areas.
  • Have good hand-eye co-ordination.
  • In your application, demonstrate a passion for working with your hands.
  • Must be able to attend every day of the workshop.
