Explore the careers ambassador role through interactive modules on feedback, research, writing and event planning. Build skills in leadership, teamwork and helping peers make informed choices, then work through recorded talks at your own pace and receive a certificate on completion.
This virtual work experience programme is designed for students who want to become careers ambassadors in their school or college, or who are interested in supporting their peers with careers guidance. It introduces the role of a careers ambassador and explores how students can promote engagement with a careers programme and help others make informed decisions about their next steps.
The programme includes interactive modules covering feedback and research methods, effective writing, event planning, finding and applying for opportunities, leadership, teamwork, and the Gatsby Benchmarks. Along the way, learners build practical skills for communicating with others, organising activities, and reflecting on their own choices.
The programme also helps strengthen CVs and future applications, while providing evidence that can support volunteering awards such as DofE.
It is a flexible on-demand experience with live talks available as recordings, so students can work through the content at their own pace. On completion, participants receive a certificate and gain useful skills for school, college, and future applications.
