Explore how digital tools support patients through virtual work experience covering software development, data analytics, AI and technology in medical settings. Try quizzes and interactive activities, discover routes including apprenticeships and T Levels, and earn a certificate on completion.
Springpod and Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent ICS have created a virtual work experience programme that explores the digital side of health and care. It gives learners an introduction to what an integrated care system is, how health and care organisations work together, and why digital tools are increasingly important in improving services and supporting patients.
The programme includes content on application and software development, data analytics and AI, and digital technology in medical settings. Participants also learn about career pathways into health and care, including apprenticeships and T Levels, and build employability skills such as teamwork, communication and problem-solving through quizzes and interactive activities.
On completion, students receive a certificate, and because the experience is virtual, it can be completed online at a convenient pace.
