Explore Sustainable Careers in Forestry: Virtual Experience is a virtual work experience programme from Springpod, delivered with the Institute of Chartered Foresters. It introduces learners to the forestry sector through interactive activities, expert insights and practical examples of the many roles involved in managing, creating and conserving woodlands.

Participants can explore topics such as sustainable woodland creation, forest management, harvesting and conservation, while learning about careers including forest rangers, nursery growers, forestry consultants, woodland creation officers and more. The programme also develops employability skills such as teamwork, communication and problem-solving, and helps students understand the different routes into the sector, including apprenticeships, volunteering and further study.

On completion, learners receive a certificate of completion.
