Springpod STEPS Engineering Your Future

STEPS Engineering Your Future is a virtual work experience programme from Springpod that introduces you to the engineering sector and the wide range of routes into it. It is designed for young people who are curious about how things work, enjoy solving problems, and want to explore what a career in engineering could look like in practice.

Across the programme, you’ll explore different engineering specialisms, including sustainability, innovation, future technologies and the built environment. You’ll take part in interactive activities, case studies, quizzes and roadmapping tasks, and hear from working engineers through Springpod sessions and live talks.

The programme also covers pathways into the sector, including qualifications, training options and apprenticeships, helping you understand how to plan your next steps. You can work through the content at your own pace, and you’ll receive a downloadable certificate when you complete it.
