Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent ICS Hospital Virtual Work Experience

This on-demand virtual work experience programme takes students into acute hospital settings and explores the wide range of careers available in health and care. In collaboration with Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent ICS, it offers a practical introduction to the NHS and to the roles that support patients across hospitals and wider healthcare services.

Participants can expect interactive activities, pre-recorded webinars and direct insight from clinical professionals working in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent. The programme covers areas such as doctors and surgeons, nursing, midwifery and neonatal care, allied health professions, pharmacy, health and life sciences, and employability skills, helping students understand the skills and pathways involved in a future career in healthcare.

On completion, students receive a certificate and can work through the material at their own pace online.
