Want a head start in law? Join Stephenson Harwood’s Bright Sparks: a paid week in their London office where you’ll build employability skills through workshops, a CV clinic, mock interview and group project, meet practitioners and boost your uni/career prospects.

Deadline in 59 days

Stephenson Harwood's Bright Sparks is a one-week paid work experience programme based in their London office aimed at current Year 12 students considering a career in law. Participants take part in workshops, a 1:1 CV clinic, a mock interview and a group project designed to build employability skills and provide insight into legal practice.

The firm pays London Living Wage for the week, covers travel expenses and provides lunches. Students will work alongside practitioners, meet members of staff and gain practical experience relevant to a future law career.

Applicants must be Year 12 students at state (non-fee paying) schools, be within commuting distance of the London office and be eligible to work in the UK. The scheme gives priority to applicants meeting at least one widening-participation criterion (free school meals, first-generation to attend university, refugee/asylum seeker).
