Stevenage Bioscience Catalyst Work Experience Week

Stevenage Bioscience Catalyst runs a wider outreach programme that supports the local community through diversity and inclusion events, STEM support, mentoring, and campus tours and Q&A sessions with scientists and staff. Within that outreach offer, the page highlights a dedicated work experience opportunity for students interested in science and innovation.

Applications are open for the 2027 Work Experience Week, a five-day placement held each July for two Year 12 or Year 13 students. The placement gives participants the chance to gain experience with a range of innovative life sciences companies based at Stevenage Bioscience Catalyst.

Places are awarded through a recruitment process, with applicants asked to submit a CV and covering letter and shortlisted candidates invited to interview.
