Fancy boosting your CV and dancing with purpose? Join Stopgap Dance Company as a volunteer - support youth sessions, work with artists, gain leadership and performance experience, and complete your DofE volunteering.

Stopgap Dance Company is recruiting volunteers to support the running of its Youth Dance Companies and associate groups. Volunteering is presented as a welcoming, inclusive way to get involved in dance activity - whether you are completing the volunteering element of the Duke of Edinburgh Award or want to try a new activity.

Volunteers will assist staff and artists in running sessions, supporting participants and contributing to performance preparation.

Named groups include Guildford Youth Dance Company (weekly, term time), Aldershot Youth Dance Company (weekly, term time) and Stepping Stones (fortnightly Saturday classes). Guildford meets 5. 30pm-7.

00pm at Bellfields Youth & Community Centre, Guildford. Aldershot meets 5. 15pm-6.

45pm at The West End Centre, Aldershot. Stepping Stones (for secondary-age children, many with Down Syndrome) runs three classes across the day (11:00-11:45; 12:00-12:50; 13:00-14:00) on alternate Saturdays; listed Autumn/Winter dates include 23 Sept, 7 & 21 Oct, 4 & 18 Nov, 2 Dec.
