Study MindArchitecture Work Experience is an immersive, professional-led programme for aspiring architects. The course combines interactive workshops, studio sessions and industry visits in central London to help students develop design thinking, digital and physical model-making skills, and presentation techniques.
Activities include concept development, hands-on prototyping, software introduction, site visits to architecture firms, and a final presentation to a panel of design professionals. The programme is aimed at students aged 15-18 with a Year 12 focus and is available in 1-, 2- and 3-week packages.
Small group sizes (typically 10-12 students) ensure personalised feedback. Residential options are available for students who choose accommodation; all participants receive pre-programme materials and a certificate of completion to support UCAS and university applications.
Study Mind operates a widening participation bursary scheme offering full, 75% and 50% bursaries (applications require evidence such as Universal Credit/Free School Meals/Pupil Premium, an essay task and a teacher reference). Bursary applicants will be notified in mid-June 2026.
