Deadline in 211 days

Study Mind's Maths Work Experience is a specialist, in-person programme for Year 12 students (ages 15-18) run in central London. The course explores higher-level mathematics through interactive workshops and problem-solving activities, covering topics such as set theory, proofs, vector spaces and different types of infinity.

The programme includes practical sessions, group work, guest speakers and visits (for example, to Bletchley Park) to show real-world applications of mathematical ideas. Participants can choose a 1-, 2- or 3-week package and receive UCAS support, a final presentation session and a certificate on completion.

Class sizes are small (typically 10-12 students) to enable close tutor support. Residential options are offered (Ramsay Hall, UCL) for students who opt to stay on campus, and industry placement days and excursions take place in London and surrounding areas.

A widening participation bursary scheme runs alongside the programme (full, 75% and 50% bursaries). Bursary applicants must provide documentary evidence (e. g.

, Universal Credit, Free School Meals or Pupil Premium), complete an essay task and supply a teacher reference. International students are welcome but must have a good level of English.
