Study Mind's IT & Technology work experience is a short, structured programme aimed at Year 12 students (age 15-18) to build practical coding and STEM skills. Participants take part in hands-on workshops covering Python, artificial intelligence, website development (HTML/CSS/JS), cybersecurity and ethical hacking, plus project work designed to generate portfolio pieces and UCAS evidence.

The programme runs in central London with industry placement days in top London firms and a day visit to the National Museum of Computing at Bletchley Park. Students can choose 1, 2 or 3-week options; groups are small (maximum 12) to allow close tutor support.

Residential places are available at Ramsay Hall (UCL) for those opting for the residential programme.

Study Mind offers a widening participation bursary scheme (full, 75% and 50% places) for eligible students who provide required evidence and complete the bursary application. On completion you will receive a certificate of achievement and ongoing UCAS/personal-statement support and advice from programme staff and guest industry speakers.
