Wild Teens is an outdoor afternoon session from Suffolk Wildlife Trust focused on bushcraft and survival skills for young people. It is designed as a hands-on, nature-based experience where participants learn practical outdoor techniques in a safe, supervised environment.
Activities include collecting green wood and shaping it with woodworking tools such as saws, knives, and drills. The session also covers survival skills such as building shelters, lighting fires with natural tinders, and cooking over fires.
The event takes place entirely outdoors at Foxburrow Nature Reserve and is aimed at 11 to 16 year olds. Participants should come dressed appropriately for the weather, wear closed-toe shoes and long trousers, and bring a drink.
An adult must drop off and collect each young person.
