Want to make a real difference this summer? Join Caudwell Children at Keele University to run fun activity sessions for disabled and neurodiverse 8 to 11-year-olds, gain hands-on experience, training and mentorship, build skills and boost your uni/career prospects.
Join Caudwell Children as a Summer Kid's Activity Volunteer supporting short-break activity sessions for disabled and neurodiverse children aged 8 to 11 at the Caudwell Children Centre on Keele University Campus. Volunteers assist staff with running planned activities, helping set up and set down, ensuring children’s safety, and communicating and engaging with children so they can discover new interests and make friends.
Relevant training, mentoring and support will be provided. This flexible, in-person volunteering role runs during the school summer holidays (end of July / August 2026). The organisation asks volunteers to commit to two consecutive weeks, Monday to Friday, 9:00-14:00, where possible.
Reasonable adjustments are offered throughout recruitment and onboarding. To apply, complete the online application on Caudwell Children’s volunteering page or contact volunteer@caudwellchildren. com or 0345 300 1348 for questions.
Dates from the previous cycle — new dates are announced when applications reopen.
