Fancy exploring Sussex's coastline and meeting marine champs? Join this youth‑led Sea Fest: dive into guided rock‑pooling, hands‑on activities and speaker Q&As. Learn practical conservation skills, connect with organisations and boost your knowledge and CV.

Sea Fest is a youth-led marine festival created by the Sussex Wildlife Trust Youth Rangers for young people who want to explore the coast, learn something new and discover the marine wildlife around Sussex. It brings together a mix of hands-on activities, talks and outdoor experiences designed to make marine conservation and coastal nature feel accessible, welcoming and engaging.

Across the day, attendees can take part in guided rock pooling, hear from speakers and Q&As with organisations working to protect marine wildlife, join creative activities, watch a film screening and visit community and conservation stalls. The event also includes a guided coastal bird walk, giving participants the chance to explore the shoreline and learn more about the birds and wildlife that depend on it.

It is designed for curious young people who want inspiration, connections and a fun day out by the sea.
