Join Queen Mary University of London for a one-day Particle Physics Masterclass designed to introduce Year 12 and Year 13 students to studying physics at university. The event explores fundamental questions about the universe, from the smallest particles to cosmological ideas, and is aimed at students taking Physics and Mathematics at A-level (or equivalent).
The programme includes inspiring taster lectures led by academics, a hands-on computer lab activity, and a live virtual session connecting participants with CERN. Attendees will receive guidance on transitioning from A-levels to undergraduate study, gain insights into career pathways and student life in London, and have opportunities to meet current students and explore campus facilities.
The masterclass takes place in person at the Peter Landin Building, Queen Mary University of London. Spaces are limited and early booking is advised. For questions contact spcs-outreach@qmul.
