Richardsons Financial Group Ltd is recruiting a Tax Apprentice to join their tax department in Thame. The role is a two-year apprenticeship combining paid work with funded study towards the ATT (Professional Taxation Technician, Level 4).

You will be part of a small team and supported with study leave and internal training, with progression opportunities once qualified.

Day-to-day duties include assisting with self-assessment tax returns for individuals, trusts and partnerships, liaising with HMRC where necessary, assisting with quarterly VAT returns, supporting senior staff with ad-hoc tax queries, and providing administrative support. Most learning is on-the-job, supplemented by specialist training provided by RELX (UK) LIMITED and Tolley (London), which can be delivered remotely or in person.

The apprenticeship is full-time (37 hours 30 minutes per week), Monday to Friday, normally 08:30-17:00 in the Thame office, with flexible arrangements for time off where hours are achieved. Wages are quoted between £14,722.

50 and £23,809. 50 depending on age. The apprenticeship starts on 1 December 2025 and there is one position available.

Pay & Benefits

£14,722.50 to £23,809.50, depending on your age. National Minimum Wage. Pay increases as progression is made.
