Taylor Wimpey are recruiting an organised and reliable Apprentice Scaffolder to join their scaffolding team in Stockton On Tees. In this role you will erect and dismantle scaffolding for houses and, occasionally, blocks of flats up to 3-4 storeys.

Most of the apprenticeship is on-the-job learning: you will work as part of a scaffold team carrying, assembling and dismantling scaffold components, following health and safety procedures and industry guidance.

The apprenticeship includes block-release training to achieve a Scaffolder (Level 2) qualification delivered by THE EDUCATION TRAINING COLLECTIVE / NETA Training Group (based at Redcar & Cleveland College). Training includes functional skills in maths and English if required, and covers scaffold inspection, safe systems of work, use of lifting equipment, interpreting drawings, and team working.

The role is full-time (39 hours per week) with typical hours Monday-Thursday 08:00-16:30 and Friday 08:00-15:30.

The apprenticeship starts Monday 5 January 2026 and runs for approximately two years. The role is based at Coatham Gardens, Stockton On Tees (TS16 0RW). There is an opportunity for a full-time position at the end of the apprenticeship.
