Teaching Assistant Apprentice (EYFS)

Accord Multi Academy Trust is recruiting a Teaching Assistant Apprentice to work in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) at Middlestown Primary Academy. The role involves supporting pupils' learning in the classroom, assisting with personal needs, and providing general support to the class teacher.

Candidates should be able to use their initiative when responding to the needs of individual children and possess good interpersonal skills; an interest in EYFS is preferable.

The successful applicant will undertake the Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship through Barnsley College, providing a foundation for progression into roles such as Higher Level Teaching Assistant, Assistant Teacher and Teacher. The position is part-time (25 hours per week) with a half-hour unpaid lunch break daily, term time only.
