Join Oasis Academy Blakenhale as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant (SEND) apprentice to gain hands-on experience supporting pupils, particularly those with special educational needs and disabilities. You will work alongside class teachers, SEN coordinators and other staff to support learning activities, promote inclusion, assist with personal care where needed, and help raise attainment and pupils' independence.

The apprenticeship combines on-the-job learning with formal study toward a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.

This is a term-time role offering 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday) and a starting salary of £15,615 per year (£8. 58 per hour for the first 12 months). Training is delivered online alongside the school placement by the training provider (LET ME PLAY LIMITED / LMP Education).

The apprenticeship starts on 14 November 2025, lasts approximately 16 months, and may lead to possible full-time employment on completion. Applicants must hold GCSEs in Maths and English (grade 4) and demonstrate communication, teamwork and a caring attitude for working with children.
