Spend 2-12 weeks living and working on an eco-sanctuary in south Tenerife supporting the small-animals team. Volunteers help with daily animal care such as preparing and chopping food, changing bedding, cleaning water and feeding bowls, bottle-feeding young animals, administering medicine, walking dogs and general rehabilitation tasks.
Work is hands-on and physically active; tasks vary day to day and focus on rescue, rehabilitation and long-term care for a wide range of animals.
Volunteers live in a community environment on the finca with a variety of accommodation options (budget, premium and deluxe). The programme provides two cooked meals per weekday, free access to pantry/kitchen, bedsheets and towels, and free airport pick-up/drop-off from Tenerife South Airport within specified hours.
English is used for work communication and the project encourages sustainable living practices as part of the community experience.
This role is aimed at adults who are passionate about animal welfare and willing to commit to the typical schedule (Mon-Fri 08:30-14:30). The organisation welcomes international volunteers year-round; volunteers can specify preferred accommodation when applying and should notify the project of any access or support needs prior to booking.
