Welcome customers, run the till and explain Gift Aid at a Nantwich charity shop, supporting a small team while raising money for cancer care. Build customer-service confidence with a personalised induction, training, expenses reimbursement and 20% off preloved goods.

This flexible volunteering role with Tenovus Cancer Care places you in a local charity shop in Nantwich, where you will be a friendly face for customers and help with day-to-day shop activity. Tasks include welcoming people as they browse or buy, operating the till, taking payments and donations, and explaining how Gift Aid works.

You will also be expected to use your own initiative while working as part of a small team.

The role is designed to give you a chance to build confidence, communication and customer service skills while supporting a charity that directly benefits from the money raised in the shop. You can gain experience operating a POS till, meet new people, and make a positive difference in a supportive and friendly environment.

Volunteers also receive a personalised induction, access to training opportunities, and practical benefits such as expenses reimbursement, paid lunch when working beyond four hours, 20% off preloved goods in the shop, and free beverages and biscuits.
