Dr Akash Gandhi leads a free live Zoom session unpacking UK medicine and dentistry applications, from GCSE and A level expectations to UCAT prep, work experience and common mistakes. Bring your questions - or submit them when you register.

This free live webinar is designed for Year 11 and Year 12 students, together with parents and guardians, who want a clear overview of how to apply for medicine or dentistry in the UK. It explains how the admissions process works, what universities look for beyond grades, and what students should be thinking about at each stage from GCSEs through to the UCAT.

Dr Akash Gandhi leads the session and covers key topics such as GCSE and A level expectations, work experience, volunteering, wider reading, extracurricular activities and Oxbridge applications. The webinar also looks at common mistakes applicants make, when to start preparing for the UCAT, and how Year 11 and Year 12 can be used to build a strong application.

There is time at the end for questions from students and parents, and attendees can submit questions when they register.

The event is delivered live online on Zoom and is not recorded, so participants should join on the day. Registration is free, and the joining link is emailed after sign-up. One registration covers everyone joining from the same screen.
