Think Smart Academy's Creative Writing Masterclass is a KS3 English summer course designed for students aged 11 to 14 (Years 7 to 9). The programme runs across four themed Mondays in August 2026 and focuses on building confidence and technical skills in creative writing.
Each live session is two hours long and is recorded so students can rewatch lessons they miss or wish to revisit. Every pupil on the course may enter the Summer Creative Writing Competition: submit a poem, a short story, or the opening of a story up to 1,000 words.
The best entry wins a £250 cash prize. Parents/carers secure places by registering and paying the £50 course fee via the provided Square payment link; joining details are sent by email after payment. Entries must be the child's own original work and may be checked for authenticity.
