Tipton Training offers free virtual dental work experience for aspiring dentists through livestream clinical observation sessions. The programme is designed to give students a realistic insight into modern dentistry without the challenge of securing an in-person placement, making it an accessible way to explore the profession before applying to university.

Participants can observe real clinical dentistry remotely through a secure educational platform and see a range of activity, including consultations, procedures, treatment planning, patient communication, digital workflows and team-based dentistry. Where appropriate, experienced dentists provide educational commentary to explain decision-making, communication and professional practice.

The programme is aimed at students considering dentistry at GCSE, sixth form, college, gap year or graduate-entry level. It is intended to help applicants build stronger personal statements, reflect on what they have learned and develop a more realistic understanding of the profession.

No prior clinical experience is required, and participants receive a certificate of attendance.
