IMPACT Summer at Tonbridge School is an on-campus summer programme that combines academic study, practical workshops and real-world projects. The programme is structured into two-week "Sprints", each focused on a central theme.
Within each Sprint students choose an Applied Learning Pathway (an academic strand taught by subject specialists), a Growth Workshop (personal and leadership development), and IMPACT Skills activities (practical, creative or physical sessions). Teaching mixes direct instruction, discussion and independent work, and students work individually and in teams to complete subject-linked challenges and hackathons.
The programme includes visits to universities and businesses, external speakers, cultural and social activities, and supervised excursions. Residential students are accommodated in Tonbridge School boarding houses under pastoral supervision; day students are welcome and integrated into the same timetable and pastoral framework.
Medical provision and safeguarding are provided on site. Prospective participants should register via the IMPACT registration page on the Tonbridge School website.
