Choose an Academic Pathway and study it in depth with subject specialists at a two-week residential summer school. Add personal development sessions and one practical IMPACT Skill, with options including flying school, golf, equestrian, sports and outdoor challenge.

IMPACT Summer Programme is a two-week residential summer school at Tonbridge School in Kent. It is designed for young people from the UK and overseas who want a structured mix of academic study, personal development and co-curricular experiences in a supportive boarding environment.

Students choose an Academic Pathway and study it in depth with subject specialists, alongside Personal Development sessions that focus on judgement, communication and self-management. They also take part in IMPACT Skills, selecting one practical activity to build confidence, responsibility and participation through options such as creative practice, sports and outdoor challenge, flying school, golf and equestrian.

Beyond the classroom, the programme includes mentoring, reflection, cultural activities, leisure, sports and social events. Students live in boarding houses, use Tonbridge’s facilities, and benefit from guidance from residential and pastoral staff.

On completion, participants receive a certificate and a personalised report from their academic teacher.
