The Toronto Pre-College Economics Summer School (Ages 15–18) is a two-week, on-campus pre‑college programme run at the University of Toronto. Students live and study at Victoria College, attend lectures and seminars led by expert tutors, and work on group projects and presentations that connect economic theory to real-world markets and policy.
The academic programme covers micro- and macroeconomics, global trade, financial economics and elements of econometrics and data analysis. Learning formats include morning lectures, problem-solving workshops, seminars and one-to-one tutorials; the course concludes with a project presentation and a university-and-careers session.
Beyond the classroom, participants take curated cultural excursions (including a Niagara Falls trip), evening enrichment activities and social events. Residential accommodation is available (single or twin rooms with shared bathrooms) and the admissions team coordinates airport pickup and dropoff for boarding participants.
