Join a small accountancy practice in Parson Drove (near Wisbech) as a Trainee Accounts Assistant on a full-time apprenticeship programme. The role is office-based and customer-facing; you will handle routine accounting tasks and support the team while developing practical bookkeeping and accounts skills.
You will be supported to gain AAT qualifications over a three-year apprenticeship, with one day per week at college once the intake term begins. The position is Monday to Friday, 9:00-17:00, and requires a flexible approach to both routine and more challenging tasks.
The ideal candidate will have some IT experience and basic spreadsheet skills, be well presented for client contact (casual dress in a relaxed office), and possess good communication skills in person, by phone and by email. The employer emphasises a positive manner and the ability to work as part of a small team.
