The Trigon Scholarship in Mechanical Engineering at Imperial College London provides a cash bursary to support a prospective female student entering the four-year full-time MEng programme in the Department of Mechanical Engineering for the 2026/27 academic year. The award offers £15,000 per year to be used towards maintenance costs and is available for a maximum of four years, subject to satisfactory academic progress and the scholarship Terms and Conditions.
There is no separate scholarship application form. Applicants must submit a UCAS application for the Mechanical Engineering course and hold an offer of admission by 11:59pm (UK local time) on Friday 29 May 2026.
The Department will assess academic merit from predicted A-level results and the UCAS application, rank applicants, and select the successful candidate. The scholarship is open to prospective students (Home and Overseas) but is not available to continuing students and cannot be deferred.
The successful candidate will be notified of the outcome no later than 31 July 2026 and the award is conditional upon receiving an unconditional offer to study at Imperial by September 2026. The scholar may be expected to meet with donors, participate in related events, or submit a short progress statement to be shared with donors.
