The Trust for Sustainable Living 2026 International Student Competition invites students worldwide to respond to the theme "Sustainability Culture. " The competition is free to enter for students aged 7 to 18.
Submissions are accepted in a wide variety of media - for example: artwork, music, video, podcast, essay, poem, letter, story - and creative and original approaches are strongly encouraged. Each student may submit one entry and all entries must be submitted via the TSL Submittable platform by a registered Teacher Champion (teachers or parents should register as Teacher Champions to submit entries on behalf of students).
Top-scoring entries receive recognition as Finalists, Honourable Mentions or Top 10 Winners and personalised e-certificates for both students and their Teacher Champions. The Grand Prize includes a trophy and a cash prize of £1,000 plus £500 for the winner's school, with a runner-up prize of £500 plus £250 for the school.
Key dates: competition launch and registration opens 07 September 2025; final submission deadline is 01 March 2026 (midnight UTC); finalists announced 01 May 2026; International Student Debates take place online in early July 2026.
