Connect your local church with a charity’s work and Christian mission. Share its Prayer Diary, arrange prayer events and organise coffee mornings, while encouraging church notices or special collections such as Harvest.
Church Ambassadors act as TWAM’s face and contact with local churches and help keep the charity close to the congregation’s heart. They encourage prayer by distributing the Prayer Diary and arranging prayer events, and they support fundraising by organising coffee mornings and similar events.
Ambassadors may also ask for TWAM to be mentioned in church notices or selected for special collections such as Harvest.
The role suits people who are committed to serving their local church and who want to share TWAM’s work and Christian mission. You should be someone church members and leaders will respect and listen to, with a passion for serving others and helping congregations connect with the charity.
The opportunity is available as and when required, with ongoing support and training provided.
