Help recruit local collection points for donated tools, raise awareness through community groups and events, and connect with volunteers across your county. You’ll also support the Volunteering Coordinator with outreach, from speaking engagements to finding places for new groups.
As a County Ambassador with TWAM, you will help raise awareness of the charity’s work in your local area and support its mission to collect tools and transform lives. The role involves working closely with local volunteers, identifying new opportunities for local groups, and helping to recruit collection points for donated tools.
You will also support the Volunteering Coordinator by promoting TWAM through speaking engagements and local outreach. This may include church groups, Rotary groups, WI, U3A, retirement and community groups, as well as local shows and events.
The role suits someone who is proactive, confident, and keen to use their initiative to expand awareness of the charity’s work.
You may also help support other remote-working volunteers, offering a friendly link to the organisation and helping reduce isolation. Tasks can include supporting local volunteers, recruiting new volunteers, helping organise events, and identifying places where collection points or new local groups could be established.
