Hear from the first woman to serve as Northern Ireland’s Lady Chief Justice as she examines how courts have interpreted the Good Friday Agreement within the region’s constitutional framework.

Hosted by UCL Laws and the Statute Law Society, this lecture explores the constitutional jurisprudence of the Good Friday Agreement. It brings together legal scholarship and current judicial insight to examine how the agreement has been interpreted and adjudicated within Northern Ireland’s constitutional framework.

The speaker is The Right Honourable Dame Siobhan Keegan, the first female Lady Chief Justice of Northern Ireland and the country’s most senior judge. She shares experience from a distinguished legal career spanning the Bar, the High Court, family and criminal law, and major public-interest judicial work.

The event is designed for anyone interested in constitutional law, legislative development, and the interaction between peace agreements and the courts.
