Curious what studying Medical Sciences at university looks like? Join an in-person UCL taster to explore applied strands, connect disciplines, tackle real-world health problems through hands-on activities, and build uni-ready skills while meeting academics and peers.

Deadline in 25 days

UCL's Widening Access to Medical Sciences Taster Day is an in-person experience designed to introduce Year 12 students to university-level Medical Sciences. Through hands-on activities and interactive sessions, participants explore how different medical science fields connect to tackle real-world problems and gain a better understanding of what studying this area at university can involve.

The programme showcases several strands of Medical Sciences at UCL, including Applied Medical Sciences, Cancer Biomedicine, Infection and Immunity, Medical Innovation and Enterprise, Nutrition and Medical Sciences, and Sport and Exercise Medical Sciences. It is aimed at students who are curious about healthcare and scientific pathways, and it is delivered as part of UCL's widening access work.

Places are allocated through a shortlisting process that prioritises applicants from underrepresented groups.
