University of East Anglia (UEA) Undergraduate Open Days are on-campus events designed to give prospective undergraduate students a clear insight into studying at UEA. Attendees can tour the campus and facilities, view accommodation, meet lecturers and current students, and get bespoke information about courses, admissions, careers support, student finance and wellbeing services.
If you cannot attend in person, UEA offers a Virtual Open Day with on-demand content about courses and student life. The website also provides campus tours for those who wish to visit at other times. Booking is required via the form on the UEA Open Days page.
UEA provides travel and financial assistance for attendees through its Travel Fund. School groups and individuals who meet the fund's eligibility criteria (UK residents who studied at a state school/college and meet at least one of the listed disadvantage criteria) can apply for support to help cover travel and accommodation costs to attend outreach events, open days, interviews and applicant days.

- Prospective undergraduate applicants (school and college students) and their families.
- Travel Fund eligibility (for financial assistance to attend events): applicants must be UK residents who study or have studied at a state school, sixth form, college or academy and meet at least one of the listed criteria.
- Listed Travel Fund criteria (examples): eligible for Free School Meals or Pupil Premium within the last 5 years; currently in receipt of the 16-19 Bursary Fund; live in a postcode area in IMD decile 1-3; students currently or previously in local authority care (care leavers); young carers; estranged students; people from Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities; refugees or sanctuary seekers; mature prospective students (aged 21+ with no previous university experience); applicants with disabilities or specific learning difficulties as defined by UCAS.
