Spend two weeks on a residential economics programme led by Cambridge professors, exploring how people and institutions make decisions. Build a research proposal through workshops, literature review and data analysis, then present your work and submit it for feedback.
UniHive Education’s Economics Advanced Research Programme is a two-week residential academic programme led by Cambridge professors. It introduces students to core ideas in economics and supports them in developing the research skills needed to investigate how individuals, businesses and institutions make decisions within economic systems.
The programme combines professor-led lectures, small-group supervisions, research workshops and independent study. Participants work on a research proposal, practise literature review and data analysis, and build confidence in academic writing and presentation skills.
The final assessment includes a group presentation and submission of a research proposal, with structured feedback from lecturers and supervisors throughout.
Alongside the academic content, students take part in a wider Cambridge experience that includes social and cultural activities, formal dining, and excursions to London and Oxford. Successful participants receive a Certificate of Attendance, UCAS points, and may also receive a recommendation letter or reviewed research proposal depending on performance.
UniHive is an independent company. It rents facilities from Cambridge colleges and has no formal connection with the University of Cambridge.
