Develop a research proposal and final presentation with Cambridge-led lectures and small-group supervisions. Refine your methodology, analyse evidence and present your findings in a Cambridge college setting. Excursions to London and Oxford are also included.
UniHive Education’s International Relations Advanced Research Programme is a residential academic experience for students aged 15 to 18 who want to deepen their understanding of international politics and global affairs. Led by Cambridge academics, the programme explores how states, institutions and societies interact in an interconnected world, with a strong emphasis on critical thinking, evidence-based analysis and informed argument.
Learning combines professor-led lectures, small-group supervisions, research workshops and independent study. Participants develop a research proposal, refine their methodology, analyse evidence and prepare a final presentation.
They also build academic skills in writing, teamwork and public speaking, with support and feedback throughout the programme.
Alongside the academic work, students live and study in a Cambridge college environment and take part in a wide programme of social and cultural activities. These include excursions to London and Oxford, as well as Cambridge experiences such as punting, rowing, formal dinners and a talent show.
Successful participants receive recognition including a Certificate of Attendance, a report card, a recommendation letter for strong performers and 8 UCAS points.
UniHive is an independent company. It rents facilities from Cambridge colleges and has no formal connection with the University of Cambridge.
