Need help getting to UAL? Apply for the University of the Arts London Travel Bursary to cover mainline train or UK flights for visits, interviews and offer-holder events—explore campus, connect with tutors and strengthen your application.

The UAL Travel Bursary is a support fund from University of the Arts London that helps eligible applicants cover the cost of mainline train and/or airline travel within the UK. It is intended for people attending UAL applicant visit days, college campus tours, on-site interviews linked to a UAL course application, offer-holder days, or UAL open events.

The scheme is aimed at prospective students interested in further education, undergraduate or postgraduate study at UAL. Eligibility is based on a combination of study intent, attendance at an eligible UAL event, UK residency, and at least one widening-participation criterion such as postcode-based disadvantage, being estranged, having caring responsibilities, time in care, refugee/asylum status, or a contextual admissions flag.

Applications are handled on a first-come, first-served basis until the fund is exhausted. Applicants should not book their own tickets before applying, because UAL books the travel on their behalf once approved.

The bursary is not for current UAL students travelling to campus.
