University of Birmingham Biomedical Science Taster Day

Join the University of Birmingham for a Biomedical Science Taster Day designed to give Year 13 students a hands-on insight into studying biomedical science. The day includes practical laboratory activities where you can try real biomedical techniques, an interactive workshop explaining how biomedical scientists investigate disease and develop treatments, and opportunities to meet researchers and current students.

Participants will also take a campus tour to get a feel for university life and explore facilities at the Medical School, and there will be admissions sessions to answer questions about courses, entry routes and careers in biomedical science. The event is held on the University of Birmingham Edgbaston campus and is aimed at those considering a Biomedical Science degree.
