The University of Birmingham’s College of Medicine and Health Information Day is a focused campus event for prospective students who want an early look at studying medicine and health-related courses. It is designed for young people beginning their university research, especially those interested in Medicine, Biomedical Sciences or Pharmacy.
Attendees can explore the Edgbaston campus, visit selected teaching facilities, and hear subject presentations from academic staff. The day also includes opportunities to meet current students, ask questions, and get a feel for the College environment in a smaller, more personal setting than a full open day.
The programme includes interactive activities such as clinical skills and laboratory demonstrations, along with guidance on student life, placements and the UCAS application process. It is a good fit for applicants who want a first step into university research or who are planning an early application.
