Join the University of Birmingham for an inspiring Discovery Day focused on global challenges in a changing world. The event gives Year 12 students the chance to explore some of the major issues facing society today through university-level research and discussion.

Students will hear short talks from University of Birmingham researchers working across areas such as Geography, Biosciences, Sport, and Psychology. The day also includes a fun quiz, opportunities to think about interdisciplinary approaches to real-world problems, and a keynote talk, which is to be confirmed.

The event is designed to inspire both students and teachers, offering a first-hand look at how university research can contribute to a healthier, more sustainable future. It is aimed at Year 12 teachers and their students, and takes place on campus at the University of Birmingham.
