The Destinations Conference is an online outreach event from the University of Bristol for Year 12 students and students in their first year of college who identify as Black or as mixed heritage featuring Black backgrounds. It offers a chance to hear directly from current students about their lived experiences at university and what life in the city is like.
The event is designed to give students a clearer picture of university life through honest conversations, student-led insights and opportunities to ask questions. It also introduces some of the student societies and wider community at Bristol, with a focus on cultural experience rather than subject teaching.
