An online taster lecture explores empire and ecology in Shakespeare’s Antony and Cleopatra with Dr Emily Rowe. Afterwards, current Cambridge students share university life and take your questions about studying English at university level.

Closes in 4 days

Join the Faculty of English for an online taster lecture with Dr Emily Rowe on 'Let Rome in Tiber melt': The Ecology of Empire in Shakespeare's Antony and Cleopatra. The session is designed to give students a better idea of what studying English at university level, particularly at Cambridge, might be like.

After the lecture, current Cambridge students will share their experiences of university life and there will be an opportunity to ask questions. The event is aimed at A Level, IB or Scottish Higher English Literature students considering English at university, and Year 11 students who are thinking about taking English next year are also welcome.
