Spend a residential programme at Cambridge exploring Law through taster lectures, sessions with the Faculty and conversations with solicitors and barristers. Hear from undergraduate Law students about studying the subject and routes into it, then stay in accommodation at Cambridge Colleges.
The Exploring Law Conference is a residential programme for Year 12 students, including Y13 NI and S5 Scotland, who are interested in studying Law at university. It offers a chance to explore Law both as an academic subject and as a profession, while also giving students an insight into life as an undergraduate at Cambridge.
The programme includes taster lectures, information sessions, and question-and-answer opportunities with solicitors and barristers from Cambridge’s Access and Widening Participation Partner law firms and chambers. Participants also hear from the Faculty of Law and undergraduate Law students, helping them understand different routes into the subject and the realities of studying it at university.
Accommodation is provided at Cambridge Colleges, making this a fully residential experience based at the Faculty of Law, Sidgwick Site. The conference is co-run by the Faculty of Law and a committee of seven undergraduate Law students.
